[There's an absolutely delicious smell wafting from the bakery today-- Regal has been trying out several new cookie recipes that he found in a cookbook from the library. Some of them are going to be taken to the Welcome Center, but the rest are up for grabs to whoever wants them.

So, who would like cookies? There's plenty for everyone! Of course, stopping to chat would be welcomed as well.]

In my world, I am the president of a large company. I spend my time helping to improve the lives of the people of both Tethe'alla and Sylvarant, so to be rendered so useless here is frustrating indeed.

I can only imagine. I don't own a company, but I'm supposed to be rebuilding and defending my hometown, something I can't really do from here. Having a purpose and not being able to fulfill it...that can become more frustrating than words could say.

[Sigh. Still. She can't give into that frustration.]

You're doing what you can, and that has to count for something. It may not be as widespread as your previous work, but we need all the helpful people we can get around here, to counter the Malnosso and the troublemakers they sometimes bring in, and...whatever's outside.

Yes, I try not to let myself dwell on it too often, but the fact remains that I find myself with far more free time here than I had back in my world. And with so much free time, it is hard to keep one's thoughts from straying to such matters.
