[Action]

[At the edge of the forest on the north side of the village, a rather large shape sits slumped against a tree, seemingly asleep. Well, in actuality, it's less that he's asleep and more that he's too drained to really move much at all. He doesn't seem to be too badly injured aside from an assortment of various cuts and bruises-- looks like the Malnosso spared him that much this time.

But he also isn't going to be going anywhere without some assistance. Help him?]

Yes, she and I have been together for quite some time. But to be kidnapped for so long... I can only imagine how hard it must have been on her.

Knowing her, I suspect she will also scold me for neglecting to bring back a souvenir. [He's joking, of course, but with Gelda, you never did know.]

[As soon as she got Soushi's message, Gelda hurried to gather a few quick supplies and headed out, only to bump into Nephry. So, the two of them soon arrived on the scene. It'd been so long since Regal'd been kidnapped, she couldn't help but break into a bit of a run as soon as he came into sight.]

[she only really came back because it seemed like Regal would need more than one person's help getting up. She'll stay out of the way now, unless Gelda specifically asks her to do something]

[Looks up and nods curtly at both women. There would be a time for proper greetings and pleasantries later.] As I said, there are no serious injuries. His sight, hearing and muscular strength have been affected though.

[Now that's a voice he's missed hearing. He feels bad, though, because the tone of her voice is a dead giveaway that she really was worried sick about him-- not that he can blame her.]

[She kneels down next to Regal, placing a hand on his shoulder. No serious injuries, but if his senses were affected, it'll be a longer road to recovery. Healing magic can't do much about that, after all.]

I suppose we'll have a hard time getting him to the clinic, then.

We certainly need it. [He was careful to keep his tone neutral, and to toss the statement out to noone in particular as not to antagonise anyone.]
