[Action]

[At the edge of the forest on the north side of the village, a rather large shape sits slumped against a tree, seemingly asleep. Well, in actuality, it's less that he's asleep and more that he's too drained to really move much at all. He doesn't seem to be too badly injured aside from an assortment of various cuts and bruises-- looks like the Malnosso spared him that much this time.

But he also isn't going to be going anywhere without some assistance. Help him?]

[He squints at the fingers for a long moment before sighing and shaking his head.]

I'm afraid that whatever they did to me had some sort of effect on my vision-- the only things I can see right now are shapes and shadows.

[And nearly slides back down with Regal because of his grip on the man. Soushi's frown just got bigger. There was no way a teen of his stature could possible bear Regal's full weight.]

[Regal is all too aware of this-- in fact, given his size, he wouldn't be surprised if it took three or four people to haul him to the clinic.]

I'm sorry. Perhaps you should go back to town and see if you can find anyone else who could assist you, because I don't think just sitting here and resting for a while is going to make much of a difference.

...There have been several murders recently. Evidence states that they were all commited by the same two residents.

I suppose it was only a matter of time until something like this happened. Those who are brought here aren't exactly screened for temperment beforehand, and not everyone takes to being trapped as well as others.

That is quite an improvement. Do all of the buildings have electricity, or just the public spaces such as the shops?

[And Soushi knows it. That was why he was even attempting to make small talk in the first place.] All buildings have them. It was most likely provided in exchange for drafting some of the residents into the recent battle with the Third Party.

[As soon as she got Soushi's message, Gelda hurried to gather a few quick supplies and headed out, only to bump into Nephry. So, the two of them soon arrived on the scene. It'd been so long since Regal'd been kidnapped, she couldn't help but break into a bit of a run as soon as he came into sight.]
